Wednesday, April 30, 2008 Y 3:28 AM I went to nova school at dover and have lunch with her at her school cafe. The food was not bad but a little spicy to me(maybe because of the dishes i chose). I still miss the mussels!=) later, I followed her back to her class and she was having her cmo lesson. She showed me who is her advisor, Mr Lee during the lessons(I also attended the class but didnt really pay attention.) The Mr Lee was very naggy. Before he starts the class, he saw some of his students were wearing the pe t-shirt and he started to nag about the "inappropriateness" of wearing it during his lesson. I think he nagged about 15 mins and so.(he was late too..yet he still wana catch student who are late. It's irony!) His lesson was boring(maybe I didnt really pay much attention to it). After the CMO, I met kevin at their school hall and also having pe lesson with them.(Nova class) We played badminton. Finally I got to exercise *yeah.
After that I went to meet my mum at IMM with kevin and had our dinner there. Sunday, April 27, 2008 Y 10:05 PM Recently I had been receiving same warning mails from many friends of mine. The e-mail is about how rapist today, make using a type of drug named Rohypnol to drop it into their target drinks and make them feel unconsious so that they can start the job(rape them). The e-mail was written: Please Inform all your Female Friends !!!!! A woman at a bar on a Saturday night was taken by 5 men, who, according to hospital and police reports, gang raped her before dumping her. Unable to remember the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the repeat rapes, along with traces of Rohypnol in her blood and Progesterex, essentially a small sterilization pill. The drug is now being used by rapists at parties to rape AND sterilize their victims. Progesterex is available to vets to sterilize large animals. Progesterex is being used together with Rohypnol, the date rape drug. As with Rohypnol, all they have to do is drop it into the girl's drink. The girl can't remember a thing the next morning, of all that had taken place the night before. Progesterex, which dissolves in drinks just as easily, is such that the victim doesn't get pregnant; she won't conceive from the rape and the rapist needn't worry about having a paternity test identifying him months later. The drug's effects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - They are P*E*R*M*A*N* E*N*T!!! Progesterex was designed to sterilize horses.. Any female who takes it will NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE... The weasels can get this drug from anyone who is in the vet school or any university. It's that easy, and Progesterex is about to break out big on campuses everywhere.. Believe it or not, there are even sites on the Internet telling people how to use it. Please forward this to everyone you know, especially girls... Be careful when you're out and don't leave your drink unattended. Please make the effort to forward this on to all you know... Guys, please inform all your female friends and relatives! REPOST THIS MSG AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN to HELP SAVE THE NEXT VICTIM..... This is how the drug,Rohypnol, looks like:
Saturday, April 26, 2008 Y 8:40 AM I felt better in the afternoon, so I decided to accompany my mum to causeway point, nokia service centre, to get her phone repaired. The zhu was with us as he accompanied me to study before meeting my mum. We had a short shopping there. I bought a Toshiba thumb drive 4gb at $28.50,courts.(cheap but is this thumb drive a long lasting product? I dont know! Just buy as it is CHEAP!=P) After that, we went to Giordanoa and bought 1 skinny polo(for my mum) and a normal black polo for myself. 2 for $30(it means each is for $15,a bit steep.) Later, we passed by a pushcart selling socks and they are selling 4 pieces at $11(why not $10?). I bought it as the price look reasonable and at the same time I need it too. PS:Tomorrow class gathering bbq, going to eat till my tummy explode!*ha ha Y 8:27 AM Tummy ache in this morning!=( Wednesday, April 23, 2008 Y 2:36 AM I had just received this email from one of the private school in singapore. To me, it's a frigthening mail=P Tuesday, April 22, 2008 Y 7:53 AM I opened my inbox after I got home from library, studying with nova & qihui.
I almost delete this email sent from this person named "HO Geok Eng, Carolyn" as I thought it was some junk mail. However, I didn't delete it at last because I saw this email subject "Course confirmation & Orientation information- Certificate in Business Admin- Full time" and from then, I realised it was my timetable. I was excited.(or maybe that kind of feeling "finally" they sent it too me) I opened the email and there are two attachment folder, one is about the course and the other is about the timetable for the first two modules. The first attachment shows:(I had changed it to jpeg format.) When I saw the course duration under the commencement box, I was pretty happy as this course takes about 5 months to complete(it is real fast) and probably after that I have to concentrate more in my O's. Another discovery was the "Orientation"! I didn't even know that private school will also organised orientation for the new students and now I am wondering how is it going to be like. I always thought that only those local school like poly's will organised orientation programme. Will the orientation be the same as the local poly's???(lots of bubble above my head *ha ha) I think it is going to be a bored one! The second attachment was about my timetable and it shows(changed to jpeg format): All along I thought that I only have to study/go to school for three days and each day is for three hours. After seeing this timetable, I knew I was wrong. I have to study four days in a week after studying for a months, exam!Luckily, there is still a "rest" periods before exam. I think I'm gonna be seriously busy in the other half of the year. PS:More updates when I am free. Friday, April 18, 2008 Y 10:07 AM Finally, I had finished my assignment which was my job on tuesday(15 April 2008). Now, I have more time to rest and play. *yeahh(Also, not to forget that I still have to prepare for my "O" level, no more slacking!) However, I took "one day off" to RP to meet christina and guisiang for lunch and at the same time I can also take a look at the environment in RP.(still considering of getting in=)) They bought me to their canteen named "Heaven" and I also learnt about another called "Hell". It's really interesting! The foodcourt there are quite spacious and things are really cheap. I really like this culture that they are practising in RP which is after you finished the food, you ought to bring the plate to the counter where you can see aunties were be standing and clear the waste into the bin and they will placed the plate neatly in another bin. This method helps us to be more discipline and we will not really rely much on aunties to clean the table for us. Not only helping ourselves, we also help aunties to lessen their job on pushing the so called trolley around and clear the table for us. I think this way should be adopted in our daily lifestyles too. After lunch, I went down to bugis and collect my pay(amount is confidential*=P) and shop around with my mum then headed home. On thursday, I did not spend my time outside instead I stayed at home and read my chemistry notes and "locked" myself at home for the whole day. Today, I went for lunch with ekkachai at Sumo Houses in clementi. The japanese food there are affordable and the food were not bad, edible. After lunch, we walked passed to the place where people will buy their lottery. We went in and bought 2 sets of numbers.(not really wanted to win so much but more onto the fun side when buying it). We went off after buying lottery. Now, I realised that studying in SP is also one of the good choices as they allow their students to have lunch for 2 hours on every friday and they do not start lessons at the same time everyday. Importantly, it is really accessible. You can just simply takes half an hour train to dover station and a few minutes walk from dover station to the respective school.(provided if you walk fast and the schools that you are in is near to the station.) I waited for Jeremy at my grandma place for the cell group in the evenings. The cell group today was really fun and I do enjoy it alots. When we were on our way to commonwealth station to meet my mum after cell group, we saw the electronic "board" that I would say, I mean the "board" that shows you how long does a bus to reach a bus stop. It was amazing that they installed in a neighbourhood area as I find it is more suitable to install in town area. We met my mum and we went home after dinner. |
